Former CM S.M. Krishna Passes Away at 93

Former Chief Minister, former Governor, and former Union Minister S.M. Krishna passed away at his residence in Sadashivanagar today in the early hours at around 2:30 AM. He was 93 years old.

He had been suffering from age-related health issues for some time and had returned home after receiving treatment at a hospital. He breathed his last early this morning.

The mortal remains of the departed leader will be kept at his Sadashivanagar residence for public viewing throughout the day today.

His final rites will be conducted tomorrow morning in his native village, Somanahalli, in Maddur taluk of Mandya district, as informed by his long-time associate and relative, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, in a statement to the media.
